SO Easy Travel from DIA

SO Easy Travel from DIA

Lora O. is a resident of Erie, and works in Westminster for Adams County Education Consortium (in the same office as Smart Commute).  Lora’s dad recently came for a visit, and Lora shares her – and her dad’s – experience with RTD SkyRide from DIA.

His response when he showed up was “that was SO easy!” He even went so far as to describe the bus ride as “quiet and relaxing.”

This month my dad came to visit, and both my sister and I were brainstorming how we would get him picked up from the airport in the middle of a work day. Enter Smart Commute (whom I happen to be lucky enough to work next to!); I asked Will about RTD routes my dad might be able to take from the airport. Turns out there is a direct bus route from DIA that ends about two blocks from my work (120th and Pecos).

I made sure my dad had cash and sent him instructions to take the RTD bus. His response when he showed up was “that was SO easy!” He even went so far as to describe the bus ride as “quiet and relaxing.” We didn’t have to worry about leaving work to get him, he got here in less time than it would have taken had we picked him up, and it cost less than it would have for us to pay tolls to the airport. He insists that it is now his preferred method of transportation and will take it every time he flies into Denver!

Thanks, Smart Commute, and the awesome, easy-to-use RTD system of Denver!
